Sky LLU / Different Router

Just tried using a different router on sky, got my username and pass from the internet, but for some reason it wouldn't connect up, it said the authentication didn't work, i am on sky llu, will this service work with any router?.

Oh right, maybe this router doesn't support that then, is that cause it is a llu service that i am on, does this router support it?.

having read your post I thought I would try my Draytek Router 2820N, using https://www.cm9.net/skypass/ to retrive my details and using these settings,

The settings required for Sky are-
Username and Password
Encapsulation: PPPoA
VPI/VCI: 0/38
Multiplexing: VC
MTU: 1500.

I'am on my internet with my Draytek 2820N

I don't think i could change the multiplexing and MTU in the router, the only thing i could change was the VPI/VCI which i had set to 0/38, maybe this router doesn't support the things the other person in the other post said it had to, for it to work?.

I also have the option to add a mac address from the old router to put in my draytek one, If you have that option try it out. BTW what router do you have ?

I don't think i can do that, the router i am trying to get connected is this one.

Just looked at the sebby and it only really shows little detail is there a online manual for it.

Click documents on the website from the link i put up, i think that is the manual there?.

that is only a datasheet for the router.
