Superb Service

[link to this post]

Recent move from entaneT to AAISP, entA were known as good, but even comparing them in their
heyday, the service received from AAISP is revolutionary.
In a proactive move, AAISP insisted BT investigate my line, they have, and I now see a substantial improvement.
Being a looooooooooong way from the exchange I will never see great speeds (until fibre) but with their (AAISP) intervention
my broadband experience in enhanced.
Contrary to popular belief this service is not gained through an expensive package, it's very competitive, and the sevice
is superb.
If they falter I will be the first to post, but don't hold your breath!

AAISP Pledge

not emulated by many others

Test1 comprises of Best Effort Test: -provides background information.
Your DSL connection rate: 3008 kbps(DOWN-STREAM), 448 kbps(UP-STREAM)
IP profile for your line is - 2500 kbps
Actual IP throughput achieved during the test was - 2216 kbps

If you wish to discuss these results please contact your ISP.

If you are experiencing problems with specific applications,
servers or websites please contact your ISP for assistance.

Your test has completed please close this window to exit the performance tester.

Notes:
Your line is configured to the maximum rate that it can support or at your chosen fixed rate,
this is known as the line rate and would be viewed through your CPE software or in your router configuration.
Your IP profile is always less than the line rate and is normal on any network.
The Actual IP throughput is the average rate that was achieved during this test.

I was very sad to lose AAISP when we ditched the crappy BT line.
Even Shaun in his BT kicking boots couldn't get mine sorted after a long time trying.

If Virgin ever LLU their cable network and AAISP gets in on the action (or I move to a house with a half decent phone line) I'll be back to AA like a shot.

Can you give your line's attenuation - this will be a useful guide as your BT test results on their own don't say much (to me)?

Thanks.

It's interesting that your speedtest.net correctly shows the isp as "andrews & arnold".

I'm also with aaisp and it just shows as "enterprise court" on my result - strange!
