peak & offpeak

[link to this post]

hi all

just to clear a question i have smile im thinking off joining and using the 4gb peak 100gb offpeak package. it says u can "top up" in 2gb packs is this purely to buy 2gb packs or can i use say 2gb off my offpeak usage to transfer over? smile ive always been on a unlimted (laughs as i type) package and never monitor my actual daytime usage, both me and my wife work during the day but have two kids who browse/msn/you tube from school between 3-6pm just wondering how long lol 4gb lasts on average smile hence the question can i top up from my offpeak pool !!

one more smile do i still need to use my mac code even for the monthly sign up ?

thanx dessy

you cannot simply transer your off peak allowance over to your peak
if you see the additional data costs it will be clear why.

(£4.89/GB peak, £0.49/GB off peak).

If you don't use your allowance then some of that can be transferred to the following month

you can select a trigger level to be notified when your peak/off peak reaches certain usage limits (set by the user)

"We also have a system to notify you if there is high usage -
this can be set on the control pages and will cause
an email and even a text message to tell you that you are using too much.
We check your usage every hour.
This can be very useful if you have got some sort of virus,
or left a download running in to the peak period by mistake, etc."

Uploads not counted towards your data usage totals
However, at the end of the day, it is up to you to make sensible usage of the service
and pay if you use too much.

MAC Code - yep you will need it to migrate
