crazy packet loss and latency

[link to this post]

Same thing every day for past 2 months.

How can a connection be this bad ???

Virgin Media are unable to fix anything with 5+ visits , therefore I am having BT installed additionally to VM until utilisation reduces...

How does it impact on daily usage? Do you see issues? The VM SuperHub is well known for causing these sorts of graphs even when it is all actually working fine.

The graph is defiantly displaying correctly.

Gaming is impossible with high levels of packet loss and latency throughout the day.

The only time it is possible to game is in the night and early morning as the graph shows.

OK, could be VM contention then or could still be a fault on the connection. Unfortunately VM are the only ones that can fix it assuming you don't have something on your network that is generating loads of traffic and swamping the connection.
