Problems?

Latency has gone from 10 to 80 ms.

I am also having problems trying to get the Speedtest to run.


However, speedtest.net and runs fine and returns expected results including 15 ms latency, BT wholesale runs fine with expected (normal) latency.

Is there a problem with the TBB servers?

Not our network looking at other providers graphs, looks just like a BT Retail effect, so their network or peering link towards us

Zen, Sky and PlusNet was fine too, did not look at any more.

Seems to have cleared now. Everything else was fine, various speedtests and latency checks were all reporting normal results, browsing was fine except to TBB - put that together and it pointed to one of two areas, TBB had issues or a problem on a link somewhere in the BT-TBB route.

That's got to be the weirdest BQM trace I've ever seen� it's almost worth printing out and framing as a piece of technological art

Easyish to interpret though. Something obviously failed or was taken out of service at 00:30 but traffic did not tial off until 1:30 or so. Overnight, nothing much happening until people went online at around 8:00. Then at 9:00 the fault was cleared or node brought back into service.
