I did and VM said it was because I was saturating my line so was normal..
Yes if you saturate the pings can't get through, so you get packet loss on the BQM. If you manage your own enterprise router you could do some QoS to solve that.
It only happens at peak times. I told them when my contract is up in 2 months time to come and remove the kit and I will go elsewhere. Luckily it's all lose and not in the massive cabinet they tried to give me.
Good luck on an alternative. We found VM Business circuits to be very good in our office. (Totally separate from the VM consumer services).
Thanks also for the reply.
Well today I am getting 50%+ packet loss even when the connection is idle. It's not at night just in the day. My Latency is hitting 60ms a lot of the time. As for an alternative. I can get a BT circuit put in I am sure. I'm waiting right now for webpages to load (around 9 seconds) and my BQM looks like someone has stabbed it

)
I have e-mailed Support again. But I have noticed that my latency is the same uploading in the day than it is downloading at night. It's just downloading in the day that sucks. (and I do upload at full speed - if the software is to be believed)
Just so frustrating.
Edited as I forgot to say this is a managed service so I don't have access to all the QoS stuff. I've also eliminated my WIFI by having it turned off for a few hours
