My old neighbour has BT broadband and only went with it as BT lied/made a mistake and told them their line was diconnected as hadnt been used in 6 years!(when in fact they had 2 lines in property and BT checked the "wrong" one) so they decided on BT to save the connection charge.
They are just into their 3rd month but constantly get letters telling them they are over their limit which at 100 gig is a LOT! for a 8 meg connection! They tell me they leave their pc's on 24/7 but mainly do downloads when they are in bed so told them if possible get out of contract and go with a Entanet reseller as it would work out cheaper month by month and only short term contracts so if they dislike it they can leave.
So shall I tell them to try and get a way to leave? or I have been reading about the new FUPS that come into place soon which would be great for them but expensive for a few months.
