BT Broadband Talk

I've just setup BBT today but I notice caller display and 1471 don't work. Is this normal?

Using BT Home Hub and BT Dect phone with base plugged into the Home Hub.

When I used my voyager 220v, my dect phone wouldn't show caller display whilst my corded one did. I think it is down to the dect only being 2 wired and the cli tones are sent down the 3rd bell wire from the router.

I am using Broadband Talk via my Voyage 2500v and caller display and 1471 work no problems. My Home Hub Arrives tomorrow and once I have it set up will see if caller display and 1471 still work.

But sure someone else could confrim this who is already using a home hub?

I can confirm that our caller display is working on the phone plugged into the hub.

likewise, even my dect phone caller display is working with the hub.

If the op is having problems with 1471 calls received on the landline number, remember to dial 5 - 1471 from the hub phone.

We've got a dect base plugged into the home hub. CLI working on all 4 Dect Handsets.

All fine.

my caller display never worked on my V2500, but works perfect with the new hub. You'll need to dial 5 to switch to your landline then dial 1471 to retreive info on missed calls from the landline. Some cordless phones don't work with BB Talk, and going by past experience, theres not a lot THD can do, might just have to change your equipment!

Caller ID isn't working with my Dect base station connected to my BT Hub if my landline number is called, although it works if the broadband voice number is called. Any chance that a future hub software update might fix this?
