In the BT Home Hub, if you go to Advanced > Home Network >.Interfaces > LocalNetwork, under IP Addresses, there is 10.0.0.138/24 and 192.168.1.254/24.
Is the 10.0.0.138/24 one for Remote Assistance to allow Technical Support to connect to you?
I know there is an option to turn this on and off in a previous menu, but I guess the 10.0.0.138/24 one reflects the range of IP address they would be using to connect to you.
I say this because you can logon the router with 10.0.0.138 as well as the 192 one as well as the DNS address. Maybe their using the Class A IP address for remote assistance?
