BT 8mb service

I upgraded to BT's 8mb service in June and ever since have experienced very slow connection to most Web sites. I have contacted BT Tech support and others and am advised my downstream speed varies between 6 & 8 mb but I still have the same slow downloads. I read a letter in a local paper recently from a similar sufferer and wonder if others experience this problem and have achieved a reult.

most probably a stuck BRAS data rate, check out the wholesale forums for the btspeedtest it tells you your bras, if its not anywhere near your synch speed then it will be a stuck BRAS profile ring THD and very slowly and clearly explain this nad ask for a fault to be raise to wholesale with a stuck BRAS

You also have to remember that you were not sold 8MB broadband but up to 8MB broadband and that is what your contract is for.
