Just got connected - A few Questions?

My Phoneline and BTBroadband (option 3) were finally activated this morning. Hurrah!

Anyway the speed is up and down like a yoyo at the mo from around 150kbps down to 20kbps. I've notice people posting line stats from their home hub. But i have no clue how to do this I would like to have a look at the stats and show them here to see what you guys think. Whats the usual wait until the line speed becomes normal?

Also i tried running the BT speed tester but when i entered my phone number - it came up as an error. Is this normal for new connections, or is it just broken at the mo?

Yes that's normal on the BT speedtester for new lines. It takes 24 hours at the earliest to get line data.

Its telling me i have an invalid phonenumber! Which i don't but oh well. Its the cardiff exchange. I'll see if i can find a number that works.
