Contacting BT Billing

[link to this post]

I have been trying to contact BT billing today. I just can't seem to be able to speak to anyone.
I rang them on 0800800150 this morning from my mobile and didn't get through to speak to any one for about 25 minutes. I tried again midday for about 45 minutes and still no joy.
At 16.10 from home i tried again for just over two hours and still no joy.
I have a query regarding my recent bill but they seem so busy.
Does anyone have any advice or contact within BT billing.
Suppose i shall try once more tommorrow and then give up as my time is worth more than the over charge / error on my recent bill.

Regards

They are open until 8PM at night, start at 8Am in the morning. Best time to contact is in the morning but I have never had to wait as long as what you have mentioned.

And the best of luck. I've spoken to India twice in the last week and been cut off both times. It really is a disgrace! Does anyone have a billing number that gets through to a British operative. The ones in India are very polite but their accents are very hard to understand and I got the impression that they weren't really interested either.

Well, I've phoned that number twice and spoken to people with very strong Indian accents! Been cut off twice, too.

Try either of these:

If you pay via credit card or direct debit (separate from your telephone bill), please call us on 0800 085 2819

Lines are open from 8:00am to 9:00pm (Mon-Fri) & 10:00am to 6:00pm (Saturdays and Sundays).

If you pay via your telephone bill please call us on 0800 800 030.

Lines are open from 8am to 10pm (Monday to Sunday).

From memory, the opening times are wrong though

Tried again last night at around 9.30pm but not direct to billing. Spoke to someone this time within a couple of minutes. The person i think was from india. Dealt with my query proffesionaly Yes a little difficult to understand with the accent but still happy with that person. If i see the credit on my next bill as agreed then the indian provided good service.

Ive found the best number for billing to be 150, you even get UK broadband support on that, no need to speak to our indian friends then...
