Torrent speed :(

[link to this post]

New to torrent stuff, last night after 10 ish I was getting ~150kb/s but now it's like 2-3kb/s

Is this the result of their throttling? I am using Azureus, is there a way to fiddle with ports to get around this?

Thanks

10KB download speeds on a 2MB connection. Isn't that taking the [censored] a bit?

basically bt like every other provider does not have unlimited bandwith (it all costs money) so since around feb-march they have been implementing traffic management/priortys and seeing as to most users of the internet leeching is not a priority during peek hours around 4pm-midnight you will see your torrents get major restrictions your gamming and surfing voip iptv etc should not suffer. just d/l afdter midnight and you will be fine
