Homehub?

Just emailed broadband support asking about the procedure to get a new homehub, does anyone know if they'd send me one?


I signed up to BTTOTAL in November and they sent me a free homehub which was DOA (would not power on) I didn't really care as i just used my own routers (first a dlink then a voyager 2110) and binned the dead homehub.


I'm thinking of getting Vision which of course needs a homehub, what are the chances BT will send me one since mine never worked.

From what I can remember, when you order Vision they ask if you have a hub and a wifi card.

I said yes, they still turned up with both. I kept the wifi card.

Yeah vision will supply one. Hub also comes with 1yr warranty.

Vision should be good getting mine installed Tuesday morning.

Be warned, Vision causes a 'retrain' on your B-RAS. So you will see a 2000 profile for a few days then you'll see a new 'Assured Rate' aswell as your IP Profile on the speedtester once it is set.

Is this immediately installation or after you use the box to view VoD?

I never got as far as using the vod so i presume it happens once they install it.
