Speaking to a UK tech person.

[link to this post]

Is it so wrong to wish to speak to a UK tech person from BT?

I am an Englishman in England, paying in English pounds for an English Broadband service, so why am I forced into trying to interpet someone speaking to me in terrible English from India?

I have just hung up on a so-called 'BT Technical support' person calling from India. His English was so appalling that I had to get him to repeat everything, after less than 1 minute it was obvious he didnt understand me and I him and I hung up.

I see no point in supporting employment in India when the cant even learn to speak the language for their job.

So now its a letter to the MD asit seems that is my last resort

I got an Australian today.

I wonder what would happen if you call India and you speak Welsh to them?

I really couldn't care less if they were indian, irish, polish, french or any other nationality, or where in the world they were based PROVIDING they can speak clear and concise English, the line quality is good enough to hear them properly and they know what they are doing

Sadly the Indian call center seems to fit none of the above.
