Weird BT speedtest results

[link to this post]

I just ran a speedtest and am getting weird results
I am on option 3 - no vision - no extras - just broadband

Test1 comprises of Best Effort Test: -provides background information.
Assured Rate IP profile on your line is - 1750 kbps
Actual IP throughput achieved during the test was - 5444 kbps

I am synch'd at 8064 and yesterday my profile was 6000 but the results are weird today

Actual throughput looks sensible, seems its lookup systems are too busy to work then

If just speedtesting, then I'd not bother and just use real world testing.

The IP profile might have increased (to where it should be), but BT's systems might not have received notification of this until after you did the test

Nope profile still the same as yesterdays - 6000 - I think the weirdy results was a one off as I aint seen ought like it before (I dont have vision so dont see the assured rate normally) - oh well these things are sent to confuse us

How come you only get a 6000 profile with an 8064 sync...... ?

Yarwell shows how you should have at least a 6.5 profile, or possibly a 7 meg one ?
