Faster than I can go...

My speed just keeps going up and up, it was 1.5meg when I joined and now its just over 3meg, though apparently the fastest speed my line can support is 1.5meg and thats with ADSL Max, but I still can't get BT Vision as the Wholesale Checker says 1.5meg is my max!

If you are getting 3mbps as a stable speed, and have been for a while (e.g. a month or so) then give them a ring and explain to them that the checker is wrong and that if they check your speeds they will see you have been stable on 3mbps - you may need to talk to a couple of folks to get through to one who will actually check and act upon it but it's definitely worth pushing.

BT need to reset your MSR (Maximium Stable Rate) number as that will have e been set when you had the lower speed. Ask them to do that and then you should be OK for BT Vision.
