Have a punter locally who has no broadband access and wishes to take a bt bb connx.
Will he have to pay a set up fee please? FAQ on bt don't mention it.

As long as he has an active BT Line then he shouldn't pay a set-up fee.

I believe it's a bt line but billed by tesco. Any probs do you think?

BT don't charge an activation fee for new connections. You can double check by calling 0800 800 150 though.

bt dont pass on the activation fee to any of its customers for btbb
