I have BT infinity so had to use by the way the set up is, modem and the router, not a nice all in one like you netgear but would have used as is becomes the BT fon access point for others to use and you can use peoples router when outside there properties.
If you want to take advantage of the free 2 something million BT fon and BT openzone WIFi points then I guess yes.
Is part of the routers web interface on

Have to share to get to share others, only fair. Is not in a public area unlikely it will get used, maybe every now and then, Mine is in a cupboard, hardly gets out the house so mine won't be used by anyone but BT fon activated so can use others, (sticking to the rules but rubbish placement of router for others!).
Good for smartphone with WIFI. If you don't want that then I guess not really.

They bang on about smart wireless on the telly advert, so it keeps jumpping channel to a less cluttered on, If you are in the middle of knowhere with no neighbours not usefull. Like it is the only one that does that. My netgear I had on o2 did and still use on BT infinity, use the HH3 as expected and run the netgear from that on port 4 on the back,, noticed it is the faster one of the 4 if you are using a computer on a cable as well. just a thought, noticed doing speedtest.
Is just a 2.4Ghz N type wireless standard router, nothing special as far as I can see.
