Do your disconnects last any significant time? Mine are less than a minute each time, but keep happening. The modem and HH3 are in a different room from either of our computers, but I don't think it's dropping for long enough for it to be restarting or anything like that.

Yes, and my Business service is delivered over a residential line.

Ours doesn't slow down but it does seem to drop the connection briefly, usually later on at night (after midnight). Does it fairly regularly these days and it'll maybe drop out and reconnect and then repeat the cycle a few times. Then it's fine again. The timing seems to suggest something maintenance related to me as i've only experienced a handful of disconnections during the day. 9 times out of 10 it's during the night so no big deal.

It's £35 excluding VAT for the unlimited version. Compared to the £25.60 including VAT for the residential version. BT will happily relieve you of the extra £9.40 a month regardless of who you are

Guaranteed to run at least 16Mbit at all times. I don't believe the residential product has this level. I think the residential one waits until you're under 12Mbit before telling you to complain.

Has "preferential fault handling". I suspect this wordy phrase basically means they'll be a bit more sharpish at fixing problems. Whether they are or not is for others to confirm.

None of this likely makes it worth the extra over a residential service because it's generally reliable enough. A static IP is important to many people but it's a big cost jump here.

Yes, 16Mb guaranteed ... even when there is congestion on the main network - but certain applications such as ones where BT throttle are exempt from that.

Normally next business day for faults but faster responses are available.

I spoke to second line support, last night (Friday) at around 18:15 and they offered me an early AM today (Saturday) appointment but I put it off to Monday.

When we had a catastrophic loss of service on a Saturday (not BTs fault) they arranged for a 3G modem to be shipped out as soon as possible (Monday) and it was with me on the Tuesday and it stayed for several weeks.

Static IP is available , but it is £5/month less for dynamic.

Tech support is in Scotland primary - can also me in England, but if very, very busy and long wait times are being experienced it can (but rarely does) trip to India. Typical wait times that I see are 5 minutes and they do not have scripts ...

Tonight the connection dropping already started!

Been playing up all evening tonight. Broadband light on HH3 went orange for a minute or so. Same last night, both around 23:00 - 00:00.
Tried using the "Contact" link I found in another thread to contact BT, but no response
