Nothing there to worry about ... although te anly one you need to check is:

That is a device using your wireless connection. Do you have any 'phones with Wireless 802.11 capability? Try barring that MAC and see who complains!

Are there any NAS drives, servers, televisions &c connected - the message indicates the lease on local IP address192.168.1.73 expired but as the device was connected it was auto-renewed.

Could the wireless connection event(s) be anything to do with Openzone?

Ah! The wireless one is my iPod Touch, and the wired one is the Blu-ray player. Both switched off (or so I thought!) I guess the iPod only "sleeps", not sure about the Blu-ray, thought the power button actually turned it off since no lights on, but I guess not.

I did get a response from BTCare on Twitter, but only pointing to the Help page about moving HH3 away from TVs and speakers. The installation engineer placed it on top of my sub-woofer - I moved it off there and it's been on the TV table ever since. The TV and amp were off when the disconnects were happening anyway.

By yesterday the connection to the internet was pretty much down - just a few minutes up at a time. So I called India and an engineer came this morning and replaced the modem (ours was apparently an early model, prone to failing). He called someone and said he'd had the line reset to 40Mbps (it had gone down to 15-ish). He tested the line and said it was back to 40.
However, the BT speedtester is still showing "IP Profile for your line is -15966 Kbps" and that is all I am getting. I am close to the cabinet and had 37-38 before problems started.
Anyone have experience of how long this takes to get reset back to the full speed?

It should be immediate. Looks like it is still capped somewhere in the system.

India called back last night, told her and she said it could take 24-48 hours. So if not back to full speed tomorrow I'll need to call again.
At least my upload is back to normal!
