Possibly quicker than spending several hours / days trying to resolve this

Glad it's sorted

I was going to say as had a thought in bed, and not wanting to make anyone sound stupid as the obvious but was going to say has the wireless on off button been pressed. Some are a small sliding switch on the edge somewhere (friends is) and acer (mine anyway) a row of 3 buttons above the F1 to F4 and wireless the first one.
But then ethernet ,network hole would stil go and I thought that did not from what I read, another idea but you have done now anyway.

Computers, here on this world to get on your nerves.
Mine does.

I wrote to acer once within weeks of having this thing asking how the bluetooth is enabled, is there a connector on the board to plug into or is the wireless card a WIFI and blutotth in one (exist on ebay for not £18). would do myself.

Got the answer back they would not say as dont wont us untrained monkeys playing with their computers. (whos computer and my choice, not lining their pockets for a cheap part and undoing the casing).
Great answer.

Good luck if you ever have to contact.
My 2 years is coming to an end so wont have to I hope.
wandering off the point.

What did you find and do to get going, interesting to know.

What I thought but a new computer so maybe not much on it.
I would not be keen doing this after 2 years and everything on it but mine plays up and might be the way one day when I have days spare to do.

Horrible **** windows!.

Or get a new machine (NOT). After this over priced thing of £650 in PC world and found on internet next day at about £480 I think. Was a rush job at night before 8pm closing as the old one died and so pushed its luck for the last time of spending money putting right Unpluggable laptop graphics card hard to find and always german ebay for £150 or so a time, after 2 I gave up and off to PC world 12 miles away!.

Gave up on the HHs yonks ago, dunno if the HH3 is any better but out of curiosity setup my HH2 again on G wireless ( n wireless used to crash when using my Blackberry ) and its still pants, dropping wireless signals to my PC. So back to the Buffulo router which just works!

I found the HH3 to be pretty awful for wireless in terms of compatibility. Some devices connected without issue. Others would connect sometimes (ipad) where as others just plain refused! I am sure it is bugs in the HH3 because when I did a test with all security disabled, everything worked!

Given up on the HH3 now and got a Draytek 2750n instead (not just because of wireless). Every device I have connected first time to that without issue!

Been using the HH3 since April with no issues. I have a PC connected via Ethernet and a laptop that i connect via Wi-Fi from an office that is separate from and at the back of the house. Never had any issues picking up the wireless signal. I think my laptop has a built in 'N' adaptor and get very good throughput speeds.
