Speed Testing

Download speed range 4213 -5168 in 2012.
Upload speed consistently 356
Exchange Stourport which is now enabled for using BT Infinity.
These speeds are no different to those before upgrade. Should I be seeing faster speeds since upgrade? is getting faster speeds following an upgrade automatic or does the user have to do anything?
My reading are not being recorded on the local map. How does one troubleshoot this failure?

The exchange may be enabled for Infinity or FTTC but that does not mean you will see any change in speeds unless you sign up for an FTTC product such as Infinity.

The speed test reading will be recorded if you log on to the main site, then under your profile select <Edit Details> and ensure the button is clicked to allow your results to be included. It also takes a day or two for them to appear.

I thought I had enabled it to be entered on the map. I have now rectified the situation.

My local exchange has been upgraded to 21CN but not Infinity yet. My download speeds have gone up from around 6mbits/sec to almost 16 at times...........average probably about 12.
