I think 192.168.1.1 is the login to the modem if you have it connected up via LAN2 port (associated with unlocking, but limited connection even if not unlocked?)

Certainly the HH3 is 192.168.1.254 for me; but http://192.168.1.254/html/index.asp is invalid.

That is the white modem so answered the question!.

192.168.1.1

Maybe a daft question as modem is not the problem and in a hurry started off doing that info then next post corrected myself and did HH3 info that agreed is 192.168.1.254

Then I bought up the hub info.

It is unlocked and have the short cable between LAN2 on the white modem to one of the 4 yellow connecto=ions on the HH3 then do the 192.168.1.1 in internet explorer to get to the good stuff.

Guess you do.
Problem is the HH and should have did that to start with when doing software, firmware whatevere they call it but did not!.
Has this slowdown caused you problems. Me just a few times but every day is not good and poor Rob must be fed up. I would but never been a problem.

I am logging into the HH3 as per the hub manager via 192.168.1.254 ...

My modem has NOT been hacked (not prepared to do that as BT will be getting involved).

The software version posted is that reported by the HH3, which also says that it has not been updated (well, that's a surprise - NOT).

Today I am still running at decent speeds.

Looks like we won't get anything updated for some time to come.

My main gripe though is that it would appear that the HH3 Type B just can't cope with the 80/20 Infinity and pumping high speed data through the LAN ports causes the firmware to barf. or not reset correctly when the modem is disconnected remotely and a new session started.

The "usual" way to restart the modem is to power down the HH3 then the modem ... then bring up the modem and when it's connected bring up the HH3.

With a remote disconnect happening in the early hours, the HH3 seems to be left in a state of limbo.

I guess ideally, when a remote disconnect of the modem is done, then on restarting, the remote software should ALSO send a restart request to the HH3 as well.

Hi

Different then like you said. Thought the long number with the SP09 or 10 was coming from a unlocked modem.

Not a daft question then just doing it different.

So have I got a good router as doing wired and all ok, you must be so fed up.

Cant get to all the logs like you so not as good then but works so all good stuff, you get more info but it dies, mine a more boring ( good a word as any ) hub but goes.

Worth asking for a type A as that seems to go if I have one.

Had last may so was yours newer.

Just did a speed test, the rev counter needle was pratting around around 10 meg then started going up and ended up here. I wish as only paying for 40 and then from what I read on here will do 100 or so but for the close lot.

This as a reading one day, I doubt it. Still nice thought.
