I would have loved to see Ratty tell us what happens to the FTTC when it reaches the user's exchange, and where and how it is handed over to the ISPs.

The poster called Deathtrap3000 seems very knowledgeable though.

Do you reckon he is an Openreach engineer, from posts elsewhere from that thread? Scary if he is, though I don't suppose it really affects his job.

He was probably a GABL, WSAS, WOPR or DCLN! Certaily not one of the old TO, STech or even TOIT group!

From what I have been told, he's there from Openreach because there is so much misinformation and bitching on the forums.

With the Issue I am having, it seems more widespread with more and more threads popping up on BT's forums about the exact same issue I'm having.

Open-reach will be hear tomorrow - but we all know this will be a complete waste of time, but I have to play the game at least once and humour them.

But I will be getting a call from executive level complaints and I will point him to the threads on BT and my own findings with BBQM and pathping results.

I'm hopeful this will be resolved, but what concerns me in the exact timing of the issue. 6pm to 1:30am, it's like clockwork and might point to throttling on the network.
