Well well well, I measured exactly how far it is to the green box and in a straight line it is 250m and this is what is says

(As for the reset time, I looked at some more of the logs, under "buttons", and it said I hit the reset button, which is perfectly feasible)

So thanks very much jcym for this, it has given me the proof I needed. Any good numbers to call to sort this out, or just BT chat?

Even assuming not a straight line to your cab, the usual is to multiply by root 2 to allow for it going round the houses a bit, so say @ 360-400 m you should still be getting pretty much the max capable from I2.

Start with chat as you can get a good one who knows what they were doing as I had an excellent one recently. After running some tests his end he immediately agreed there was a problem got me a much needed engineer visit who finally sorted a long standing problem with my connection so that I now have 76/19 24/7 and, as I said before, I am 400-450 m from my cab.

If you don't get a good one just be very persistent and insist they escalate the problem up the levels until you get someone who know what they are doing and not just reading from a script. The last fall back,if necessary, is email the CEO but i must admit I have had good.responses recently so either they are getting better or there is a tag on my account to treat carefully as I have been through the CEO route in the past.

P.S. yes I know you are supposed to have I2 but this is BT we are talking about and I know a number of people supposedly on I2 but due to a system screw up or exchange screw up they were actually on I1.

I tweeted them, they acknowledged, I filled in the online form, I doubt anything has been done with it yet as I have had not response from them, but my HH5 had a software update and reboot this morning, and my IP profile has increased by 10.56%

So if it goes up by that % every 2 days, it'll be about 78 Mbps in 12 days (or 14 days after the installation date), so *maybe* they are doing it that way for me

Apart from the auto-acknowledgement you get after sending the online form, I find it the slowest way to get a response but great for non-urgent queries as it can take days and they also appear to 'lose' online queries. Chat or telephone is the quickest but of the two I prefer chat as in my experience you seem to get a much better or more knowledgeable support person via chat but YMMV .

Some significant noise come in on the upstream, and the downstream is less healthy than originally.

Just after a month since install and the speeds have settled at
