Youview Box Return

Anyone else, who has left BT, been asked to be green and return the Youviw Box. The one they gave you in return for 12 months contract. It works perfectly well without BT.
I am being green by keeping it after 2 years with BT.
Strange they did not request return of HomeHub 4 which I definitely have no use fot now.

I think they offer but it is yours to keep so should just be able to ignore it. I still have my original YouView box from about 2-3 years ago even though I signed back up to them this year and got another free box from them.

I've got 4 now, the original big one, 2 of the small ones and one of the tiny ones, all are in use although only 2 have the BT TV on them

You are lucky it is still working at all after two years. I am currently on my fourth after three failures.

they may be trying to keep up with weee requirements, offering to recycle responsibly.

I think it's optional to return when out of contract.
