Re: Router stats for a VDSL2 line

The Draytek Vigor 2860 includes its own modem code, so there is no need for a Draytek 130 modem.

I can't find any telnet commands starting xdsl... in the Draytek Command Line Reference manual V.1.12 (Updated May 2016)

I cited the 130 because manufacturers tend to have the same telnet interface across all their kit smile. IIRC the SHOW one you gave also works with the 130, but no more use than the GUI.

Have you tried either of mine? If one works so will the other, it's only the time breakdown of error stats that differ. Neither will crash the thing smile.

Rather than using the XDSL command try using VDSL info or VDSL which the valid command list suggests.

To enlarge on Robertos's explanation, I can actually see inside the FTTC (when open - rarely) from my lounge window, about 10 Metres apart.

The FTTC in turn is about 40 Metres from the PCP; but the link cable is about 50 Metres long, as it first heads 5 M away from the PCP direction in a short section of new duct to enter the old main duct from the exchange to the PCP, hence the extra 10 M, before turning about to pass the FTTC onwards to the PCP.

The big conundrum is the 1967 phone wiring from the PCP to my house on a then green-field site, no obvious obstructions etc.

Yet the phone wire length from the PCP to my house is a known 250 Metres, as that wiring has been clearly identified many years back at a small junction block on the foundations of another house about 125 M away, when locating a fault in dial-up days.

Virtually all of it is underground, so no poles to help confirm the route.

@MHC: this is the result of VDSL STATUS, using the code and /code feature!
The router has been 'up' for just over 167 hours.
