Have you rebooted the HH4?

Yes earlier today when broadband dropped out; been up now for over 10 hours. Also rebooted Hub (router) at same time.

Would a reboot of that help?

It may do. It wouldn't hurt.

As I understand it, you have a modem connected to the phone line and a Home Hub 4 connected to the modem.

Please confirm that is the case.

If so, call the modem a "modem" and call the Home Hub 4 a "Hub" wink

Left modem alone (I take it that if I do that the exchange will not see another disconnection?) but rebooted HH4; still low:-

You either need to be patient or to book an engineer to troubleshoot your connection and reset your DLM.

How long should I be patient?

Would booking an engineer cost £130 if dodgy face plate found?

Can DLM be reset with an online chat to BT?

Does DLM changes involve resetting my IP Profile?

1. Weeks

2. The charge is if the fault is found with your own equipment

3. Maybe, maybe not

4. Yeah, that's what I meant.

Okay so access the stats in what ever is the hub (though if a locked down ECI or HG612 modem obviously not possible)
