This is what the BT chat person said when I asked her what she meant about boost in response to the BB price changes [or not]
�Reshma: You will get a different device booster at the end of the December month where it will increase the speed upto 76mbps. So that the Internet connection will be more speed and stable also.�

Reading the speed increases posts that seems to be implemented earlier than December, so what could she possibly be talking about please?

What is your current connection speed? Unless its nailed to a download connection speed of 55,000 then any regrade (no matter when) will not give you any improved download speeds

As for stable, pushing VDSL2 to its limits is likely to have the reverse effect

As Andrew said, the 'claim' of better stability as absolute ...... and unless your line is actually capable of anymore speed or even much more its not exactly a major boost if at all.

Personally I would look at what offers are about on Black Friday for switchers...

Though getting a deal from BT would be recommended to save the havoc of switching and also they do seem to be the best performer although their customer service is somewhat lacking in any pride.
