Well on my old Smart Hub I only had if I recall 2 or 3 firmware updates while I was using it, but I was getting loads of reboots at the time, so these were not firmware reboots, but more due to stability issues with the hub.

BT even sent a replacement at one point an that did the same after a little while, so I brought my own 3rd party router and used that, and put the smart hub back in its box for when I need it for BT tests.

I just got fed up when it use to just drop connection no matter what the time, dropping all the connections I had open while working on code etc.

At one point we had the Smart Hub reboot 4 times within 20 mins, so defo not a firmware update forcing a reboot.

Well for our connection I can only go the router route LOL
