nothing on the line has been changed its a stock reboot. the SNR is natural.

The issue im having is for the past 7 Years my syncs been 8128 sync 7150 bras profile.
What ISP and what exchange? It is possible you have been moved on to a WB(M)C ADSL2+ connection with an ADSL Max profile. Or is this a new router, faceplate or filter?

What made you try with an extension cable? That seems a very odd thing to try unless you had a reason.

my router had been working fine on the extension cable for 4 years. i changed ISP and got that 7115kbps sync or what ever the speed was so i moved it to the master socket and now its less. A move around in doors mean the router is now at the NTE5 Filtered Master socket and im no seeing 5795kbps sync speeds with less attenuation and less SNR. i've changed my SNR Margin to 10% and the lines holding but sync speeds still arnt at optimal.

Downstream Power is 9.8dBm, it is normally around 18-19.

So next I notice the Link Power State is L0. I've no idea what that means, but a zero could be a minimum setting. Edit - Forget that, apparently L0 is full power, L1 is low, L3 is idle.

The router is cutting the power down on perpouse and its not just 1 router thats doing it. every single router i try does it
