Sorry if this has already been addressed, but I would be interested if anyone knows the chipsets models used for the adsl modem element of any individual routers - to be more precise for routers using "mimo-g" or preferably "draft n" (but not "pre-N") wi-fi.
I have a Vigor 2600g in use but it is proving "flaky" in holding the adsl line although excellent on the wi-fi with hi-gain aerials! - in comparison at another location I had a similar issue with a Vigor & switched to a USR with a leap in sustained synch rate!
I suspect the Vigor uses an unusual chipset & am really looking for units with either the TI or Broadcom chipsets as these appear to receive favourable write ups.
Thanks
