In the router it still shows the Key, as if you are viewing the page with it, you would already be connected using the key already or via LAN.
So it would be pointless in masking it in the router, cos someone already has access to view or change the settings, they could just change it anyway.
But besides, it more for you to check what you set it to in case you need to look it up.
Which I think you will find in most routers anyway.
The AES thing, I guess so if it says in the manual. But might only be for WPA2 or maybe WPA+WPA2 modes
As I noticed on the "Wireless Access Point - Details" page, when I tried checking for different settings.
When set to:
WPA
Security Mode: WPA-PSK
WPA-PSK Preshared Key:
WPA-PSK Encryption: TKIP
WPA-PSK Version: WPA
WPA2
Security Mode: WPA-PSK
WPA-PSK Preshared Key:
WPA-PSK Encryption: AES
WPA-PSK Version: WPA2
WPA+WPA2
Security Mode: WPA-PSK
WPA-PSK Preshared Key:
WPA-PSK Encryption: TKIP+AES
WPA-PSK Version: WPA+WPA2
Only thing I can think is to check in the connection status in the of the "Wireless Client Manager" to see what it is connected to the router as, I would of thought it would say whether it's TKIP or AES.
