Yes, I had tried that.
Now on OpenDNS servers. I had never seen a DNS issue over the past few years on Be with the Be router, but strange that it went up the wall with the Netgear. Searching around here I see the Be DNS can be flaky, as mentioned above.
To be sure, I just checked my saved config from the Be router:
set var=DNS_serv1 value=87.194.255.154
set var=DNS_serv2 value=87.194.255.155
So this is really strange that it is virtually unusable with the Netgear router. I agree and understand there should be no difference based on the router, but I believe there actually is. As I say, I never saw a problem with the Be router (AFAIK), yet it is immediately obvious with the Netgear.
Oh well, I am running fine now, so that's it. I will ping Be tech and see what they have to say.
