Single PSU for Modems + Router?

Providing the connectors are the right size, is there any reason why this may not be suitable for powering both modems and the routers?

Would look a whole not neater than having individual PSU's like I do at the moment.

You'd need to ensure that all your boxes are 12 volt dc and that the total current requirement for all together is less than 5 amps.
I'd say you'd be lucky if that was the case.

Are the lengths adequate to reach the (up to) four items simultaneously? See Page 2 of the spec.

Not just right size, but right polarity too!

Modems are 1A

O/P on the router PSU is 1A and it's powering Both routers (Passive POE output on the ER-X into the RB450G)

So Yes 5A should be sufficient

AP is powered separately

That is a very good point!

But the ER-X is 24v

Actually it's 9 to 26VDC as per the datasheet.

The PSU they supply with it is 12v and if you want to power a small poe load @ 12v you can use the ER-Lite PSU (which I'm doing since my Er-lite died with ram failure)

Fair enough, I couldn't find the spec sheet, only the brief info on the website.
