I think there is something wrong with my fiber broadband, yesterday when I got up I noticed that my ping had gone from 16ms to 30+ms and I could no longer get my to speed of 37meg, I was lucky to get to 20meg all day yesterday and my upload was as low as 1.5meg. could someone have a look at my stats just incase im missing something, by the way im reading it interleaving is off but my internet feels really sluggish here are my stats

Have you tried disconnecting and turning off the modem for a couple of minutes? I'd reboot the router as well while you are at it.
My broadband basic info/help site - www.robertos.me.uk | Domains,website and mail hosting - Tsohost.
Connection - Plusnet UnLim Fibre (FTTC). Sync ~ 51.8/16.8Mbps @ 600m. - BQM

Are you by any chance connecting by wireless?
Try using a network cable and turn off wireless if so, and see what effect that has.
Max: Upstream rate = 29439 Kbps, Downstream rate = 79020 Kbps This line above shows what the modem thinks your maximum possible speed is, which is around 29Mbs up, and around 79Mbps down. So your attainable speeds are very good, and depending on your connection method (wi-fi or wired) you could benefit by changing to an 80/20 product.
Path: 0, Upstream rate = 9995 Kbps, Downstream rate = 39998 Kbps This line shows that you are synced at 40 down and 10 up and clearly shows you are on a 40/10 product.
D: 1 1 This line shows your interleaving depth for down and up, and they are both at 1, which is basically interleaving off, which is known as fast path.
It could be a wireless problem, congestion on the network, somebody using your connection or even a virus swamping your connection.
Who's your ISP?

I am connected wired with cat5 cable, my ISP is sky, I'm AV is coming up clean i will try turning the wireless off now to make sure it's not that.
The thing that's worrying me is if I'm struggling to get 20mb now whats going to happen when I go onto 80/20

Flash in OSX can be an issue occasionally, so try using Chrome.
Can you post the link to the thinkbroadband results, the graph shapes can be informative sometimes.

You said you only have one PC but it turns out you have two. Could you confirm you're seeing the same issue on 2 devices?
Could you also try different browsers on the Macbook, like Chrome, Firefox and Safari to confirm you have the same issue?
In addition, could you check that the same issue is happening wired and wireless?

I see 20meg or less on the iPad because of sky's [censored] wifi on its hub, all my speed tests are done wired on my pc I will attach the speed test done on TBB

Up until yesterday it was solid at 37.5 mb 15ms ping now I'm maxing 30mb 30ms ping
When I download a TBB test file I max out a 2.1mbps

Our speed tests when doing multiple threads are fine, and thus so will be speediest.net who do the same.
The slow single thread is the bit of concern, and as its not a flat line or saw tooth suggests its not RWIN but maybe a contention issue somewhere. When you do six downloads at once you grab a bigger share of the available capacity.

In what way is it worse?
The slow tbbx1 looks like congestion or other issue the line seems able to burst to the expected speeds

Do you think it's congestion at the exchange then since it could burst to almost the speed I was getting?

Running tests at 7am should show if its peak speed issues.

and my ping dropped at 9pm last night back to 15ms

A sudden change like that must surely have been DLM, although it's an unusual time for it to do it.
|
|
|
I don't think it was, his stats shows he was on fast path. Also when the DLM resyncs you always get a red spike of lost packets, there is no red spike. Must have been some work on Sky's network somewhere, causing congestion.

Not true in my case, I have had DLM resyncs with no visible loss, just a step-change in the latency.

I hope that's the case and whatever work they have been doing is now rectified

Maybe rather than going clockwise around the Sky fibre backbone, its going the shorter anti-clockwise route.

Have you actually checked that the modem has resynced, as I've often had changes in latency without modem resync's, most likely a change in network routing somewhere.

Yes, I am talking about resyncs caused by DLM where the level of interleaving has changed. On checking the last two resyncs there is actually a tiny red point near the top of the graph. I occasionally get a small change in latency when changing gateways after a disconnection but that does usually cause a noticeable red line on the graph.

I don't think it was, his stats shows he was on fast path. Also when the DLM resyncs you always get a red spike of lost packets, there is no red spike. On FTTC the latency changes without a re-sync. Mine is changing several times a day at the moment, but definitely no re-sync's.
On ADSLx I agree with you.
