I'm on Zen and it has been stable for almost an entire year, and in December I started experiencing completely random drop-outs, similar to your time pattern.
I've even done a factory reset of the FritzBox at the suggestion of Zen support, but the issue persists. Quite often the FritzBox itself seems to crash or become unresponsive, but when I log-in to check, I'd then see 'connection uptime' is 1min and realise it's lost connection to the ISP.
Last Friday it dropped 3-4 times in the morning, and then was fine for a couple of days. It seems completely sporadic and difficult to predict, it's happened several times during video conference calls which is just awful!
Openreach engineer was here and ran tests, installed a new faceplate and said everything is fine and deferred it back to Zen. Since he left, it's dropped a few more times. Zen are monitoring it for 72 hours, speed is a bit slower now.
