Thanks, will do. I've got two other HG612s sat next to the socket, the faceplate and a pile of filters so hopefully should be no doubt!

I'm on Zen and it has been stable for almost an entire year, and in December I started experiencing completely random drop-outs, similar to your time pattern.

I've even done a factory reset of the FritzBox at the suggestion of Zen support, but the issue persists. Quite often the FritzBox itself seems to crash or become unresponsive, but when I log-in to check, I'd then see 'connection uptime' is 1min and realise it's lost connection to the ISP.

Last Friday it dropped 3-4 times in the morning, and then was fine for a couple of days. It seems completely sporadic and difficult to predict, it's happened several times during video conference calls which is just awful!

Openreach engineer was here and ran tests, installed a new faceplate and said everything is fine and deferred it back to Zen. Since he left, it's dropped a few more times. Zen are monitoring it for 72 hours, speed is a bit slower now.

Yep they seemed to think the same and are dropping me onto another port at the moment. Hopefully this will sort it. I'm always slightly worried as there have been issues with water ingress at the head of the pole from time to time, but its been dry recently.
