Incorretly Listed on Database

[link to this post]

I'm currently getting 30Mb/s fibre with OVO/SSE and need to renew my contract. Their database, which I presume is maintained by Openreach, says my house is not connected to fibre. Any ideas how I can get my house entry in the database updated to reflect that fibre (FTTC) is available?

Use the BT Wholesale Availability Checker.

https://www.broadbandchecker.btwholesale.com/#/ADSL/...

Enter your postcode and select your address from the drop down list that appears.
Look under the section WBC FTTC Availability. If it shows waiting list then it means your fibre cabinet is full and would explain why fibre is showing unavailable to you.
You may not be able to switch provider until it shows as available instead of waiting list.

I had pretty much the same problem when we were with SSE https://forums.thinkbroadband.com/fibre/f/4650083-bt...

Basically you need them to run an ordi process to get the two databases (SSE/Openreach) synchronised
