FTTC Early?

One of the cabinets near me has just had a shiny new and fairly large cabinet installed beside the old...according to nibroadband.com the planned date is 31 Dec!?? surely it wont take that long to turn it on!

Ill post a pic of it tomorrow, but its deffo a larger BT cab (it had BT sprayed outline on the pavement before today)

The cabinet doesn't necessarily have anything in it. In addition they'll likely to be back in due course to dig up more of the road to install the fibre and power.

That said, if they've put the cabinet down and sited it, dunno why it would take 9 months to set it up. June would seem more plausible to me.

Do you have a more accurate location of where the cabinet is?

Here is the cab I was speaking of, it does not look like other FTTC cabs ive seen on here, no vents etc.

Perhaps its not for FTTC? or as its belfast we get hardened versions
