BTs option 2 still appears to be better value than the TalkTalk offering which is surprising considering their constant undercutting.

BT has no activation cost and is 10Mbit upload. TalkTalk sweeten it slightly with a half price offer and the slightly lower monthly cost.

You can get three months free with BT *if* you elect for the "with calls" option which I think is £2.40/month more? - so even if you don't use the calls there's a net saving. That's assuming the unlimited option (which IMO you must go with..)
