The latest update in my saga:

Engineer isn't coming tomorrow now. They don't need to visit me and will be increasing my ip profile within the next 24 hours. Will give you an update in 24 hours time.
Good luck

Sorry, I can't remember if you turned off the modem for 5 minutes or not?

Ping Test and the TBB Broadband Quality Monitor normally work fine with a standard BT modem and Business hub.

Can you set up: http://www.thinkbroadband.com/ping

Recenlty we swapped out my router about 20 times in an hour! the modem stayed up all the time - no change to the IP profile and download speeds did not change!

No as it's testing packet loss to the PC, not the router.

Latest update: engineer came this morning. no faults anywhere but still can't get the correct speed I should getting. But he mentioned something about it saying "removing a loop" but he didn't know what this means?

Anyone got any ideas?
