I have no idea where the cab is
Google maps are great There is one at the end of Fern Road, about 50 yards up from the junction. Can't say if that is yours or not, but it appears to be the closest!

Hastings exchange is/was due to be enabled for FTTC on 1/3/2012. That is today but trying to order a FTTC product I'm told that it isn't available on my line. Is that likely to be because the checkers haven't been updated yet or the fact that FTTC hasn't gone live yet? Is there any way to tell when it has gone live other than to keep trying to order a service? Postcode is TN38 0GN if that helps. Current ADSL2+ service has 61.0db attenuation so it ain't fast, keen to get on to something a bit quicker.
If you check the Openreach website they have it down as 31st March (or was it on the BT Infinity website). Also according the Openreach website, the Hastings exchange is going to be FTTP rather than FTTC.

Update: Apparently it is FTTC not FTTP despite what the Openreach website says but also it looks like the rollout in Hastings is now on hold with no firm date for availability. Link

They haven't stopped work on the deployment but what the announcement implies is that 31st March is no longer the RFS date for Hastings and Baldslow.
