There's boxes going up everywhere there's loads.
I live on elphinstone road (the langham end) and my cabinet hasn't even been touched!. I saw the BT guys laying the cables at it and spoke to them and they said it will be done on my street but if you got further up elphinstone road they've done all the boxes up there which im actually quite annoyed about as it seems they've skipped my box, i just hope it gets done. As for the 31st of march thats just an estimate i doubt it will be done by then. They say once they have 10 cabinets installed and completely wired up they activate it, im not sure if thats true or not. They don't seem to have a lot of information on whats going on either.
They seem to be doing really strange areas first like warrior square i don't mean to offend anyone but most people there will never afford the internet! or even care about it.

even if they don't install all the cabinets before 31st March, they will activate the cabinets that are already installed right?

I wouldn't count on it, we had an FTTC RFS date of 1-03-12 on Sam Knows for our exchange. Superfast where and when just shows March 2012, cabinets been in for at least a month now, and we're still waiting.

Edit: Exchange has still not been activated - they seem to announce them on Twitter

BT need to sort there act out and do my cabinet. Im going to have to get in contact with BT cause im getting very concerned my cabinet is not going to get done.

I'm now getting this on the Openreach ADSL checker for the first time (Hastings exchange)

Nothing on my Baldslow line, still normal. Will have to wait I suppose.
