Is anyone who is connected to any of the "potential" cabs, fed by a Telephone pole to get their ADSL or Voice service? Am just curious.

I will keep an eye on this thread for further updates smile

It's all telegraph poles round my way and the cabinet is just around the corner sitting right next to one so hopefully having FTTP will be a possibility, especially since the PCP my line is connected to is about 20m further away on the otherside of a main road.

It's all poles around my way as well the cabinet is about 10 doors down the road. Would have thought where there's poles would have FTTP as it easier install and requires no road digging etc, suppose were be lucky to even get FTTC some time in the next few months.

Well this side of Baldslow is not activated unfortunately. Maybe they don't like working on the A21.

to be fair Hastings has more cabinets that balslow.

theres no harm activating it early if all the baldslow cabinets are done.

Baldslow apparently covers over 4,200 residential properties so it's a reasonable size.

True because Baldslow only has 10 cabinets listed in the FTTC rollout.

And it also covers the CSA at Ashdown House so Baldslow would be done first of course.
