The spreadsheet indicates the cabinet is planned but gives no spcific date when it is active and ready for orders. Seems its not ready yet.

Phase 9b is between (October to December), the spreadsheet says the cabinet is planned for FTTC, it does not mean it is live.

Is likely cabinet 91 as its on the road into the new estate, as your estate is new alot of them are due to get a FTTC cab later this year as they missed out on the orginal rollout for the towns etc.

No sign of FTTC cabinets appearing yet. Worried that we might be getting skipped - has this occured to villages in 'the plan'?

My exchange (Morpeth) is enabled, but I cannot order.

My other local exchange (Ashington) is now taking expressions of interest for 30 June.

My postcode shows up nothing.

We're being skipped aren't we?

Roadworks.org shows there is BT activity in your area now and that more is planned. Also work in Ashington itself has become less visible so maybe they've dispersed into the surrounding areas that are being enabled in the same phase.

Don't give up hope yet smile

Spotted this today - sure it wasn't there last night:

Pegswood FTTC Cabinet

Got to be a promising development.

That's looking good. You might get it before me as your exchange is already enabled.

I found BT had dug a big trench on Hawthorn Road today, must be some blocked ducts.

Yeah - just waiting to see when we might hit the checker - and looking at whether Bt or SKy are the best bet for provider (I'm with BE at the moment)

According to this:
http://fttc-check.alc.im/results.php?postcode=NE616TE

Over 60% of lines in my area are potentially direct to the exchange?

Certainly, I had an issue lately where my phone line went down entirely - but none of my neighbours had the same problem - and this was resolved by OpenReach fixing some line problems at a roundabout about half a mile away.

Starting to wonder if I might, unknowingly, have a direct line to the exchange - any way I can find out?
