Although this is for Hastings, not Eastbourne, I'll report here anyway.

For the cabinet I'm connected to, the checker reported the capability a few days after the power was connected. A few days following that I was then able to put in an order on the BT Business website and around three weeks later I received the service at an initial 79999/20000. I've had some problems but I believe they were mostly related to a faulty master socket filter, and as such am currently using my ADSLNation XTE-2005 until I'm completely certain of that. My sync is now 73322/20000 with an interleaving depth of somewhere around 1500, but the ping is only about 12ms higher as a result so fairly tolerable for gaming online still. As of posting this is my 11th day of using FTTC, with original estimates or 58.5Mbps/18Mbps.

In reply to a post by simon194:
I decided to upgrade to their fibre service because it has finally been confirmed that there will be an upgraded path to the Pro service for existing fibre customers. Roll on the 20th.

Finally been connected after a mix up with the install date and I'm the first one on the cabinet. smile
Just need to get it upgraded to Fibre Pro but Sky won't let me for another month which is a bit annoying because I discovered I could have ordered Pro by phone after I had ordered online.
