Re: Will I need a new router for FTTC ?

It really depends on what you want the router to do.

If you want a whole host of features etc such as gigabit, print server, 3G fallback etc you will need to sit down and work out what you need to do and buy one accordingly.

The Buffalo that RobertoS uses is fantastic for the price but you will need to look at what you want it to do.

It may be worthwile using the router that your ISP sends (if they supply one) until you decide it does everything you need and if not go shopping for one that does.

Good points. The wireless is all that bothered me, and 100Mbps LAN is also fine. I've got an Iomega disc attached to it that has an inbuilt USB print server. (It's not a brilliant print server though frown).

My domains, website and mail hosting - Tsohost. Internet connection - Plusnet Value Fibre.
