Just checked TalkTalk for me and it has been put back to December!!!

However, on a marginally more positive note, I did notice that the cab outside of Morpeth Golf Club had a "fibre optic broadband is here" sign on it yesterday, I'm sure it wasn't there before.

And I also saw what looked like a truck (not BT OR, workers were wearing "Network Solutions" tops) with Fibre cable on a trailer half way down the straight road from Pegswood to the new big roundabout!

If you are using a TT line then the BT checker cannot give you information about your line derived directly from the number - you can only use the postcode and house number which doesnt give 100% certainty - especially if part of the post code is connected on EO lines (which is the case for some earlier posters on this thread).

You are still ahead of me in the your exchange (Morpeth) has been enabled for a while now.

Ex <n>ildram , been to SKY MAX - 15,225 Download
BE Unlimited - 21,000 Download 1,200 Upload ON THE LINE THAT SKY COULD ONLY PROVIDE 15,255 DOWN AND 800 UP ON!!!,
Moved house, now BE Unlimited 6,500 Down, 1Mb/s up - gutted!
FTTC Cab installation commenced 12th April - expect full 80 / 20 - bye bye BE, hello BT Infinity soon!

Well the Morpeth exchange has been enabled for some time now so you should see these!

Because Pegswood is outside Morpeth it seems to be being done as a separate job. It could be much worse though - if Pegswood had its own exchange (like Red Row, Stannington, Lynemouth, Ulgham, Longhorsley, Dudley, Seaton Deleval) you would probably be in the "not currently in rollout plans" as they all are.

Every cloud ......

Spotted one on the cabinet outside Morpeth library, seem to be popping up speedily now, keeping fingers crossed for The Wood soon!

Yes but the stickers on the FTTC CABs are not automatically done when the CAB is enabled.

On another thread it was mentioned that Open Reach staff do this voluntarily and I certainly wouldnt rely on the presence of a sticker to know whether I could order.

There is at least on CAB I am aware of that has been enabled for a long time (in North Tyneside), a sticker appeared on it a few weeks ago and within a fortnight somebody had peeled it off!

Could have been a Virgin Mobile employee!
