New FTTC exchanges

Just been looking at the Openreach lists, There were 23 New exchanges enabled in July. (26 June - 02 Aug)
CAERLEON, DOWNDERRY, EASTON, EDINBURGH WAVERLEY, FORDINGBRIDGE, HAILSHAM, HYTHE HAMPSHIRE, KIDDERMINSTER, LEWES, MILFORD, MOORHILL, NESTON, NEWPORT SHROPSHIRE, NEWPORT GWENT, NORTH CARLTON, ORMSKIRK, PERTH, SEAFORD, SEFTON PARK, STOKE BISHOP, STOKE CLIMSLAND, TELFORD WELLINGTON, WASHINGTON.

There are still 149 on the list for the end of Sep so I hope the run rate improves.

Interestingly some small places have been done, North Carlton only has 3835 Res premises according to Samknows and Milford 4533. (Wonder if someone important lives in these?) This may give some hope to people in smaller population centres.

These will be small exchanges were the head end of the fibre is located at a nearby larger exchange so the fibre doesnt actually touch the local exchange.

Part of a longer term plan to close the smaller exchanges when, eventually, the local loop moves to fibre or the current DSLAMs in the CAB could be upgraded to MSANs?

Is there any way to know whether your fttc cabinet connects to your local exchange or a different larger one? I've looked on samknows and the leaked database but they don't give any hints (other than an RFS date, if that does actually relate to that exchange and not a larger one?). My exchange serves around 13k residence, and although the exchange is called Rustington (a small town, technically a village), the exchange is located way out of town so will serve other local areas too.

SDRSTNG (RUSTINGTON) is actually a FTTC head-end so the cabs are fed from that exchange, not another
